The New South Wales and Victorian state governments recently announced their respective roadmaps, with restrictions set to lift as vaccination targets are reached. The table below summarises the dates that vaccination target rates are expected to be achieved and the restrictions which would be eased:

HABA + our partners at Ai Group are in discussion with the state governments about member concerns regarding vaccinations of staff and clients and the 5 person cap on clients.
HABA National President Maureen Harding + CEO Jan Gawel recently spoke to 9News about the approaches we have been undertaking + our stance on the 5 client cap.You can read more of this article here.It is unclear whether public health orders will make vaccinations for this sector mandatory for staff and/or clients.
In the meantime, we recommend communicating and encouraging eligible staff to receive the COVID-19 vaccine as recommended by the government, and on the advice of a health practitioner. Resources to help promote COVID-19 vaccination are available here.
