CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP
Hair and Beauty Australia (HABA) is the federally registered Fair Work industry association for Hair and Beauty within the Personal Services sector, and the official voice for our industry.
We represent salon owners, professionals, and businesses nationwide, providing the legal, workplace relations, and advocacy support that underpins a stronger, more sustainable sector.
HABA is now welcoming corporate sponsors.
This is a practical partnership that goes beyond logo placement. Sponsorship helps protect your stockists by connecting them to HABA’s workplace advisory support, giving your network greater confidence in compliance, best practice, and professional standards.
Why sponsor HABA?
The hair and beauty sector is facing ongoing regulatory change, increasing scrutiny around employment obligations, and fast-moving impacts from emerging technologies. In this environment, clear workplace guidance is a commercial advantage.
By sponsoring HABA, you are investing in the operational strength of the salons and businesses that sell, recommend, and rely on your products. You build loyalty through tangible support, not just brand visibility.
Sponsorship helps you:
-
Protect your stockists by providing access to HABA’s workplace relations guidance.
-
Reduce operational risk across your distribution network by supporting best-practice compliance.
-
Strengthen brand preference by demonstrating you back the businesses driving your revenue.
-
Increase meaningful reach through HABA’s national industry channels, events, and communications.
-
Align with professional standards through association with the registered Fair Work industry body for Hair and Beauty.
What your sponsorship delivers
Brand promotion with industry credibility
Your brand is promoted across HABA’s national network through relevant communications and industry touchpoints placing you in front of salon decision-makers with context and credibility.
Workplace access for stockists (Blanket Access)
Sponsors can nominate stockists to access HABA workplace relations support. This may include guidance on:
-
Award interpretation and compliance
-
Wages, classifications and penalty rates
-
Employment obligations and best practice
-
Contracts and workplace documentation
-
General workplace relations queries relevant to salon operations
This is not theoretical support, it is practical assistance that helps salons operate with confidence.
Support where it matters: at salon level
Many corporates have government or policy representation. HABA’s role complements that activity by supporting the day-to-day reality of salons, renters, apprentices and small operators, protecting the commercial ecosystem your brand depends on.
Collaboration opportunities
Depending on tier and objectives, sponsorship can include collaborative initiatives such as:
-
Compliance tools and practical workplace resources
-
Apprenticeship and employment guidance initiatives
-
“Rent a Chair” education and materials
-
Industry campaigns aligned to professional standards and sustainable practices
HABA’s role in strengthening the industry
HABA has supported salons through complex workplace developments, provided practical compliance resources, represented Hair and Beauty at major national events, and contributed to relevant state and federal discussions impacting our sector.
HABA also participates in the Fair Work Commission process to ensure the industry’s voice remains present at the source of decision-making.
